Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy covers Stride’s iPhone app, widgets, Apple Watch app and complications. For questions, email gr09oizv@anonaddy.me.
At a glance
Stride does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics services or cross-app tracking. The developer does not receive or operate a server that collects your step history. Stride does not sell your Health data or use it for advertising.
Apple Health and HealthKit
With your permission, Stride reads step counts from Apple Health through HealthKit to show your daily total, hourly activity, history and trends. The Watch app and complications read step counts from HealthKit on your Watch. Calculations and displays are produced on your devices. Stride does not write or delete Health records.
You can change read permissions in the Health app on the relevant device. Removing permission limits the activity available to Stride; it does not delete your existing Apple Health records. Apple controls storage and any synchronisation of Health records according to your device, iCloud and Health settings. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Information stored on your devices
Stride stores your daily goal, appearance preferences, connection preference and recent widget snapshots locally. App-group storage lets Stride and its own widgets share step counts and settings on the same device. The Watch app similarly shares a recent step snapshot and goal with its complications.
The iPhone app sends your chosen daily goal to your paired Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework. It does not use this connection to send your step history to the developer.
Widget snapshots are replaced by newer values. Removing Stride using “Delete App”, rather than “Offload App”, removes app-local data; separately installed companion components and shared storage may need to be removed separately. Deleting Stride does not delete records in Apple Health. Device backups may include local app data and restore it later; backups and Health synchronisation are controlled by your Apple settings.
Contacting support
If you email the developer, your email address, message and attachments are processed to answer your request. Email uses the developer’s email providers, including addy.io, which forwards the contact address. Please avoid sending unnecessary health or personal information. Correspondence may be retained to resolve your request and follow-up; contact the developer to request deletion of support correspondence.

Changes and questions
This policy may change if Stride’s features or handling of information change. The date above identifies the current version. Send questions or requests concerning information held by the developer to gr09oizv@anonaddy.me.
